Onno Ennoson has explored movement spaces and rhythm structures since the end of the eighties at the interface between calligraphic methodology and ‘Écriture automatique’. By means of techniques of the collage, the linearity of the writing is sometimes interrupted, and results in a quantity theory of new transitions and forms of possibility as a result. Permutations and stratifications provide insights into the proliferating swarm behavior of signs without a specifically necessary semantic content. In the vacuum of meaning, it is the viewer to articulate independent interpretations.
From the mid-nineties electroacoustic sound compositions complement the repertoire. Performances made it possible to combine, to test and demonstrating various aspects of artistic strategies and their implementation.
