Since 2012 Claudia Garád has been the Executive Director of Wikimedia Österreich, a public charity whose mission is to support free educational content in general and the online encyclopedia Wikipedia in particular. A focus area of her work is diversity and inclusion in the Wikimedia Communities. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Cultural Broadcastings Archives (CBA) and Open Knowledge Maps and is co-host of the Netpolitical Evenings in Vienna (#NetzPAT).
