Media artist Clemens Haas lives and works in Vienna. He completed his artistic training in the class of Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts under Brigitte Kowanz. Over the course of his artistic career, Haas has developed light objects, projections and spatial installations in which light appears not as illumination but as an independent material.

The focus of his work lies in specially programmed light forms that combine symmetry, aesthetics and colour harmony and represent the interface between art, technology and perception. They are used both in stage settings and as autonomous artistic works, exploring the three-dimensional effect of colour, intensity and movement of the medium of light. Among other things, he has created numerous light shows for Af ne Records, undertaken the visual design for Solektiv and the Löwinnenhof St. Pölten, and developed light images for his own exhibitions.

In addition to his artistic practice, Haas is also active in the eld of professional lighting design. He develops precise lighting concepts for gastronomic spaces and architectural projects that combine atmosphere, functionality and aesthetic setting.
