Conny Zenk
Conny Zenk is an artist and artistic researcher exploring hybrid, collaborative, and participatory contexts between performance, video, sound art, and urban space. She is working across topics dissecting social media, migration, gender, and feminism, as well as urban and spatial concepts. She is the founder of the participative performance series named RAD Performance. Since 2013, Conny Zenk has developed and curated many premieres in the context of contemporary performance art, activism, urban exploration, and cycling. 2010-2016, she worked as co-director of Aschwanden/ Zenk in the field of performance and media on numerous projects such as Art of Reading Maps, mobile stories, selfie shamanism, and many more. 2008-2012, she co-founded the performance group FFID, researching the intersection between performance, contemporary circus, and digital media. Her work includes projects in Europe and Asia, cooperations in audio-visual experimental concerts, film, dance, theatre, and opera, and transdisciplinary and transcultural forms of action in public space.
