Djordje Slijepčević is a researcher at the Institute of Creative\Media/Technologies (ICMT) at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences since 2016. He is a also a lecturer for undergraduate and graduate programs and a mentor for younger researchers at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from TU Wien. Currently, he is enrolled in the doctoral program in technical sciences at the TU Wien under the supervision of Univ.Prof. Dr. Christian Breiteneder with a research focus on the development of machine learning and pattern recognition methods in the field of clinical human gait analysis. In general, his main research areas include machine learning, explainable artificial intelligence, computer vision, and time series analysis. His commitment to the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) drives him to develop explanatory methods and apply them to real-world scenarios. The use of these methods is intended to promote collaborative learning between users and machines, leading to more transparent and trustworthy AI in the future.
