More than just art or the cloud: the Graz-based platform mur.at

Originating from an association of artists who work creatively with network technologies and free software, mur.at has developed into a non-commercial internet platform that is much more than just art or cloud: mur.at has been providing knowledge transfer and discourse between society, culture and technology for 25 years. Mur.at is supporting and networking hundreds of cultural enterprises and creative people with digital infrastructure as a digital backbone, supports Styrian cultural initiatives and projects with hardware and know-how and offers a home to a growing number of media and net art forms and digital art projects. As one of the few free internet and cloud service providers in Austria, mur.at offers a sustainable and democratic alternative to the monopolization and commercialization of the internet.
