Tatjana Nikitsch studied journalism at the University of Vienna and dance improvisation with Detlef Kappert in Essen and was over twenty years active for ORF and 3sat. The focus of her journalistic work is making female realities visible.

2014 she founded the initiative “Women in the Country” and 2018 she produced the traveling exhibition “Damenwahl”. Together with her husband she leads the WALDEN.JETZT retreat in Lower Austria, a practice for regenerative body work in Vienna, she is an author and active cultural activist.
