Sasa Spacal lives and works remotely in a forest area nearby Ljubljana (SI). She is a post-media artist and researcher who engages living systems, media and sound art, as well as visualizations of post-human futures. Saša develops installations and performances that interact mainly with underground critters and fungi. By doing this, she seeks possibilities of co-creation with non-human species. Her works have been shown at venues such as ARS Electronica Festival (AT),  National Art Museum of China (CHN), Perm Museum of Contemporary Art (RUS) or Transmediale Festival (DE). Her works received international awards and nominations.
